Default Internet Conncection gets dropped every 2-5 hours...help

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Friends,

I am in need of desperate help.

I have bought new 8700g phone and I use that to connect to internet on my computer.

What happens is my phone reboots every 2-5 hours and I loose my internet connection for that period. My question is,

1) Is there any way I can avoid that if not increase the duration ?

2) Is there any signal booster I can buy to increase the robustness of my internet connection?

3) Is there any other phone offered by blackberry which is better for internet connection.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Kery

I'm a bit confused. You say you have an 8700g but your profile says your carrier is Sprint. Do you really have an 8703e?

I guess the next question would be, are you losing connection in your bb's browser, or like the person before me said, are you losing it while tethering your modem. I could be wrong, but I think the sprint network is very reliable when it comes to network speeds, if your phone is just randomly restarting you might want to take that back to the carrier, doesn't sound like something you can just wipe the os and reinstall to fix.
