I took a look at the extra contacts on the handheld and at one point or another some of them were or are in the law firm's contacts database (it is Lexis Nexis' InterAction for those familiar with it and this particular contact is an admin for that program). However, none of those contacts are in his user folder in that program.
Even if I hard wipe the device and desktop manager program from his desktop, the moment I do an enterprise activation, those contacts show right back up. I even upgraded his handheld software to the most recent version of 4.2 available from Verizon.
Anyone have an idea as to where these contacts may be pulled from or how I can fix this? I asked Blackberry support they were of no help. They think it may be the contact database, which I'm not ruling out because no one else on the BES is experiencing this issue; however, the support techs for the database don't have an answer for me either.
I am guessing that they are in fact somewhere in users Outlook account. Look for other .pst files associated with their Outlook account. It's worth a shot.
