Default Blackberry Messenger

Now that I'm starting to use my BB a lot more I've been using the BB messenger but have come across a weird issue with contacts.

If I add someones pin number in my address book then send them an invite through the BB messenger it shows up as pending until they accept. This is where the weirdness begins. When they accept my invite it comes back to me saying I am accepting my own invite. The contacts name is then cleared from my pending and my name is moved up to contacts. When I try to message them through BB messenger I am message myself.

When the other person sends the invite I get it just fine and everything works correctly.

I can PIN message everyone and sms everyone just fine it is just trying to initiate contacts that I have this issue.

Thanks in advanced this is a great site.

When you "add contact" be sure to add by pin. To do this hit "add contact." When the address book comes up simply highlight the contact and hit menu key (don't click the ball.) Then select "PIN"
