Default clearing email account

Please Login to Remove!

I searched for this problem, but couldn't find it, so pardon me if it's been answered before...

I bought my blackberry on ebay, and I am trying to set up the email, but it says "An account already exists for this PIN. Please try again."

Is there some way I can clear the old person's email account from this? Thanks!

You will either have to ask the previous user to remove their old BIS account, or you will need to call your provider and they can clear it for you (Y)

Also read the FAQ. Good info there also.

Basically, the previous owner has to cancel their BIS account which will release the PIN and IMEI for you to use. If the owner refuses, then you will need to contact his/her carrier to see if they will do it.
