Default When Using The Blackberry as a Modem

Q. When using the BB as a Modem:

Does the data go through the Blackberry as if the Blackberry is a real "modem", OR is the device exchanging data from your PC as if you were accessing it on the Blackberry itself (basically, your PC is being used in lieu of the Blackberry browser/email applications)?

Thanks!

Default

It acts as modem for you PC, not as an extension of your BB browser, etc.
