Default Software to get my 8830 to connect to my computer?

Please Login to Remove!

I got my 8830 from a friend and it only came with the phone and a battery. I have a USB cable that fits the phone but where can I get the software or drivers for my computer to put pictures and songs on my phone? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums!

You can download Blackberry Desktop Manager from here:

BlackBerry Desktop Manager Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ

I recommend version 4.2, service pack 2

Thanks for the Welcome!

I recently downloaded that version but my computer doesn't seem to be finding my phone?

Finding your BB? Pull the battery on the BB (while it is powered ON) and replace to reboot. Then try connecting it via USB to the PC, again. Make sure the USB is connected directly to the PC, not through a USB hub or such.
