Default question about ring volume

Please Login to Remove!

I just joined this site and just got a new 8830 and my ring tones are so low that I can't even hear them. I see the volume control on the side of the phone, it is up as loud as it will go. Is there somewhere on the phone to go?

thanks,
Lisa Jane

It's a know problem, I say defect with the 8830. I returned mine due to this issue and the GPS lockout.

using loud mp'3 will correct this, or even amped up mp3's

This is a terrible problem! If they would switch the volumes between the speaker for music and the ringer I would be happy. I can play the same file that I use for a ringer in the media player and it is LOTS louder.
