WiFi is always on...
Please Login to Remove!
Hi all,
Last week, everything was right on my 8820. I'm back from NYC to Paris and when I was in NYC, I noticed my BB had the WiFi constantly switched on.
In order to save the battery ( and because the WiFi activation was useless during the day, I switched it back OFF...)
And whatever I did, Wifi kept switched on over and over again... I can't stop my BB 8820 to have the Wifi activated ! It seems to activate by itself.
Any ideas ? Thanks for your help !
Bruce

Are you unchecking the box for wifi under Manage Connections? Also, anytime things are acting strange on a BB always try pulling the battery and reinserting. Have you tried that?

Removing the battery reboots the device. Just like a ctrl+alt+del on your PC. It needs it every so often...once a week or so is good practice.
