I currently have a Treo 700wx. I would like the 8830 (verizon). I have everything windows based.
Can i get all of my outlook features as well as be able to work with excel and word?
Will i be able to sync both ways?
I have exchange server 2003 at work and i am the only one using a smart phone, can i connect through wireless sync like i do now?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated, I would in a small office and none of us are realy network savy.

The syncing answer is yes on the BES Server.

Check out Afternarket Software There is also an EOffice program through the Handango.com website

thanks, for the info but how do i set up BES (?). I know absolutly NOTHING when it comes to BB. I am a window person and would be lost without it.

Your work needs to have a BES server setup. If you are the only one with a smartphone then it's unlikely they have a BES.

Check out a hosted blackberry server. Sherweb has one, but there are many out there.

You can view MS docs with a blackberry. To edit them you will need to purchase a third party app. Do a serach here for the issues you are interested in learning about. There is a wealth of info here that should be able to answer most of your questions.

Why not just use eoffice from Dynoplex and a BES express server.

What is BES express server?
