Thumbs down not getting emails

Please Login to Remove!

I set my email up (or so I thought) with a Verizon person on the phone, but I haven't received an emails on my BB. I sent several tests to myself. I sent an email that worked fine. Anyway here is what I have tried:

-Taking battery out for extended time and restarting phone.

-Resending books.

-Going to the Host Routing Table and re-registering.

I tried to do the Enterprise Activation, but it just timed out.

Please Help!!!

Welcome to the forums.

You don't need to do the Enterprise Activation unless you are on your company's BES server, and a BES admin provided you with an activation password.

When you go into the Host Routing Table and click Register Now, do you get a 'Registration' message in your Messages application? If not, then you need to contact Verzion to find out what is going on (since you've resent the service books....).

I received that message. I just got three emails (I checked via my computer) that say they are to carry data between my BB and an associated server. Like I said, I sent an email from the BB just fine, so I don't get why my emails wouldn't show up on the BB.

The messages you received on you computer are the enterprise activation messages....and if you're not on a BES you might as well delete them since they won't be used by anything.

You've done everything you can (per this page: My Email Stopped Arriving - BlackBerryFAQ) so the next call is to Verizon.

Although, if it were me, I would also try deleting the email account you created on the BIS website and then adding it back in and resending the service books one more time.....but that's me

Check out the FAQ as well. Some good info there. Remember, it takes 15 or 20 mins for your email to start arriving via BIS. Then it should show up about every 15 minutes.

On your email client setup on your PC, make sure you have "Leave Messages on Server" checked. Otherwise the mail will get downloaded to the PC to Outlook or whatever you use, and then deleted on the server. Most will never reach your BB.
