Hey

i have just found this information

Transfer From PC to Device (or vise versa)

1. You must have a Bluetooth adapter or have Bluetooth built into the PC

2. Pair the device with the PC

3. Open Desktop Manager

4. Double Click the BlackBerry Device Manager Properties icon (in the system tray next to the clock in windows)

5. Select Bluetooth Support and check the box

6. Select Configure Bluetooth

7. Select Add

8. Add your device

9. Go back into Desktop Manager and select Options >> Connection Settings

10. On the connection drop down box highlight Bluetooth and select enable Bluetooth support

11. Transfer the files from the device to the PC or vise versa

However, due to my 7290 running on 4.0, there is not a device manager for me that has bluetooth connection. is their anyway of overcoming this ?

Thanks

You can used Desktop Manager 4.0 and up with any device. If I'm understanding what you're asking, you can just upgrade to a newer Desktop Manager version.

You'll need to change bluetooth drivers on the computer. You need to be using the native windows bluetooth drivers. Not the manufacturer drivers that came with the bluetooth card.

Right, I'm sorry - I don't believe BB OS under 4.1 will allow BlueTooth Synchronization. Sorry.
