Okay... so per some advice.. I added a data package to my plan. Which after some reading and what not, I realize I needed. But now the phone is telling me "Data Connection refuse". What now?
I have a 7100t - a T-mobile that was unlocked and I stuck my AT&T SIM into it. text and phone work great...
I reiterate... what now?

if that don't work, try pulling the battery out, and if that still fails, contact AT&T to verify they put a "blackberry" dataplan and not a medianet plan.

I am using the 7100T unlocked on the AT&T network. I had to make 3 calls to get them to add the package properly. Once you make sure that is done. Re-register your Host routing table.
