Hi guys,

I'm new to this blackberry craze... Im using Blackberry 8707g and I have installed Desktop Software 4.2.2. And below it, I see that my device IS DETECTED (PIN: XXXXXXXX). But when I open Roxio Media Manager, my device is NOT DETECTED, hence the message:

"There is no device connected. Please connect your device in order to view its contents"

Because of this, I am not able to view the contents of my blackberry and cannot transfer files. Any of you guys have had the same trouble and fixed it? Please help...

I loaded 4.2 and 4.3 and had no issues. I did read on one of the posts that there were some issues with Roxio and the suggestion was to do a clean re-install and be sure you have 4.2 on the BB. There may be some links the application did not load.

Just a note, I think you double posted this request and that should be avoided.

Yes, your BlackBerry device must have at least the 4.2 OS installed on the device before the Media Manager will detect it.
