Default No more corporate BES ... what now?

Please Login to Remove!

Folks -

I have received from my company a 8700g Enterprise Version which was used with the BES. For some time now, the company decided against Blackberry and for Windows Mobile ...
What do I need to do to continue using my beloved 8700g with my corporate exchange account ...

Redirector is not finding my blackberry and BIS is claimed to be not supported ...

Do I have to change software on the 8700g to get rip of the Enterprise version?

Looking forward to your help!
Cheers!

You can setup a forwarding rule from corp to a gmail account or another personal account which has a stand alone app for bb devices.

the stand alone GMail app is not running on my blackberry neither ... after downloading and installing, it tries to load my inbox, but it stops and points me to the faq at gmail (for blackberry reconfiguration), but there it does not solve this issue. it seems that it does not get connected to the server ...

same for google maps ... i can download the app and install it. after starting google maps it hangs at bootup at number 4.

Do you have an IT policy on device?

You'll likely need to remove it.
There's detailed instructions at Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ for removing the IT Policy.
