Default 8700c Going Away?

Please Login to Remove!

Is the 8700c going away? When I went in to look at various blackberries at the company-owned store, they no longer display the model.

AT&T's Premier division (for corporate contracts) is offering the 8700c (new, not refurbished) for $43 out the door. If I use the Blackberry Trade Up Program I can turn in an old phone, get $28 credit, which would make the final price of $15 for a new 8700c. Of course my contract would extend out for two more years, but that's not a concern for me.

I tried looking at the 8800 as well as the 8310, both keyboards seem to be pretty awkward. So I'm pretty tempted to spend $15 for a new 8700c, keep my old one as a backup, and wait another 12-18 months to see what new phones RIM comes out with that peek my interest.
