Hi All

We have about 6x BB7290 within our organisation that we have owned now for about 2 years. All was going well until last week when one unit decided it had enough. The only way to get it to turn off then on again is to take out the battery.

When the unit is on with the desktop displayed the only feature that works is the scroll wheel and only for scrolling between icons. When selecting any icons via the keys or by clicking the scroll wheel nothing will happen. The backlight button is not working either. At this stage we would like to just format the BB but we tried the option 'kill handheld' from our BES server but again this proved unsuccessful.

Any help or advice would be great.
Cheers,
Joe

Repeat after me "Our father which are in heaven" - in other words - it would be cheaper to try to buy an onlocked 7290 on ebay. I paid $37 bucks for mine a few weeks ago
