Default How do I dial #

Please Login to Remove!

I have this come up recently alot. When dialing my bank of my voicemail at work, how in the world do I dial the #? Since its linked to the Q button, and when I press shift it just puts a Q, what do I need to do to dial the #.

Any help is appreciated.

Just hit #. Forget that it's linked to a letter, just hit the button. When in phone mode the numbers/symbols take presidence over the normal keyboard functions which means that to get the letters you'd need to press ALT.

So, just push the button without anything else.

When I go to my voicemail, I just enter my pin and hit # and it works.

Put enough monkeys in a room with typewriters and eventually you get Shakespeare. Even JRS is right once in a blue moon.

This was it.

Wow, I never realised this was a competition. I am glad i never looked at it like that, I would probably be the only one in the forums with a negative score

Indeed, as my comment was a joke as well. I guess sometimes sarcasm is hard to pick up on an online forum. Although this question was answered and the OP's problem was solved. This thread has went way off topic.
