i want unlock my BB 8700G T-mobile but when i type "mep2" and i don't see where write number code ....help

I'm looking at directions on blackberryfaq.com:

After going to settings > options > advanced options > sim card, you type MEPD (or mepd). Then you press alt key while also typing MEPE (or mepe). Then you will see "Enter Network MEP Code" and you type unlock code and then press the wheel.

I don't see "mep2."

There is not a "place" to type the mepd or mepe, you just type it while at the screen, not into a blank or such.

when it returns ( 10 left ) after typing the MEPD is that a warning that 10 tries and it blows up? Looks like the password warning.

After 10 incorrect unlock codes have been entered, the device will permanently lock to that carrier and cannot be unlocked EXCEPT by RIM, and by shipping the device to them.

So yea, that is sorta like blowing up.

Network Disabled means the Blackberry is already unlocked.

i known,and i type "mep" after type "alt+e" ,too ...but can't ....the screen nothing

why i insert sim ,the device :"insert sim card" and haven't to: avalid sim card ...help

my device isn't repair hardware ...help

If the device is unlocked (Network: Disabled) and you can not put in a working, valid SIM for your carrier, then you either have a hardware problem, or a device that was reported to the carrier as lost or stolen.

thank for all of people .....my device is unlocked ...and it only received 2 in 3 of carrier in my country ...
