Question Unlock 7100g

Please Login to Remove!

First, is it allowed to post messages related too unlocking? If not, please go ahead and delete my message.

Here is my question - I have a Blackberry 7100G from Airtel in India. I used for a long time and now I moved to the US. Airtel, as much idiots as they are, refused to give me an unlock code even after I told them I am leaving India.

What are my options for getting this unlocked in the US? I love my handset and how I can continue to use it.

I am in the bay area.

Thanks,
Kalyan

Ok to post unlocking questions.

How do I unlock my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

You can purchase the code from a vendor. That FAQ lists a couple of reputable vendors. Overseas devices may take 2 weeks to get the code.
