I have been able to connect with bluetooth and my go720 I get traffic ok but do not get the use of the phone thru the TT. I can use an ear bluetooth, no problem but can not us the TT.
I am on AT&T or Cingular.

To those of you that are interested I have accomplished the task of getting the TomTom Go720 to hook up with the 8800. It will now get traffic congestion when travelling as well as a full featured phone including the transfer of the 8800's phone book into the TT.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at getting the GO 720 rather than the Nuvi 660 but I was a little concerned about whether both the phone book and traffic would work with the 8800 since it is not list as a supported device and I have seen other commentors saying that they were having problems.

Can you give me a step by step as to how you accomplished this along with all the settings etc. I am on the same network and have the same phone and TT. I am able to connect via bluetooth with the phone and transfer the phone book but cannot get the data traffic working.
