In the meantime while your IM is down, T-Mobile will offer a $5 credit until the problem is fixed. All you have to do is email customer support and let them know your feelings about not having IM up and running yet.

Does anyone else have this problem? I log into AOL IM via my 7100, but no one can see me on, nor can I see them?

Default multiple IMs going

Anyone know if it is possible to run AIM and Yahoo at the same time? I have tried, but can't seem to get back to the main messenger entry screen if I have one running.

I see the same thing, I can log into AIM but all my buddies show offline even when my computer shows them as online.

T-Mobile is blocking TCP ports on the wap.voicestream.com APN. We're trying to get them to fix this. Check out that thread for updates on the effort, and how you can help.

Has anyone been able to successfully use the IM client? with out the problems of delayed msgs or msgs that never arrive etc..??

is the "T-Mobile is blocking TCP ports on the wap.voicestream.com APN"
that is causing these problems?

I was using the IM forwarding to mobile, until I realized that was just running up my text messaging bill.
