Dialing in-house extensions

Is there any way to use my 8830 at work to dial the four digit extension to another person as opposed to dialing the ten digit outside number then the four digit extension? Thanks for the help.

Natively - no. You can if your organization purchases Ascendant server software.

Add a wait or a pause comand after the main number, then add the extension. Works like a charm. Ythe default on the pause is 3 seconds, you can change that. For the wait, all you need to do is press the trackball. Works great for checking office v-mail and my checking account balance.

Just edit the number in your address book, place the cursor where you want it and press the menu key, select wait or pause, then remember to save it.

You can do this with Smart Dialing. Go to the Phone app. Hit the menu key and go to Options >Smart Dialing. Setup your office number and the appropriate extension length and wait time before entering the extension. Then, all you have to do is dial x1234 on the BB and it will automatically dial the number and enter the extension after the set wait time.

I'm still trying to change TV channels with mine! It would be grand to over right my wife's choices when she has the remote!

You give your wife the remote?

She TAKES IT!

I fought in a foreign war, but I am afraid of her!

Is this her?
