Default Lost 7250 in snow, how long will it last before dying?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok to elaborate.

I THINK I lost my 7250 in the snow on Dec 4th at 10pm its only 2 pm the next day.

I keep calling the phone ( on silent of course ) and it keeps ringing. Im assuming its still working.

If it were dead or fried it would go straight to voice mail. Can I assume then that it probably isnt buried in the snow somewhere??

If it isnt then I have to look harder at work and in the car. at 19 degrees it should have frozen and stopped working by now.

Any ideas???

It likely won't stop working unless it gets wet inside (at 19 degrees it probably won't get wet) or the battery runs dead.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Its an electronic device won't actually freeze though you LCD may be done! Unless of course some snow melted and the resulting water made its way into device! I'd say if it is in the snow its probably a goner!

well im going to keep my hopes up then. I read someone lost their BB for 1 month in the snow and rain and such. Let it dry out for a few days and it works perfectly. HOWEVER if its in that 30ft tall snow pile its like finding a needle in a haystack anyways.

At least its not dead yet as it still rings 4 times before VM

It's only a 7250... you can pick them up new on eBay for about $40.
It's probably going to cost more than that to fix your screen if you ever do find your lost one.

yeah $40 for a verizon model. I have Us Cellular unfortunatly, no way to transfer to them from verizon. They SAY it has to have their software in it to work.

the USCC models go between 80 (with continuing bids) $150.

UNless you know somewhere else LOL

Be a good St. Bernard and bring it a stiff drink when you find it. You have the drink to thaw yourself out.
