When my emails are forwarded to my 8830 the message appears in both the assigned email folder as well as my general mailbox (sms) folder. Is there a way that I can change it so that it only notifies me in the email folder and not both? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Go to your Messages list and hit menu and select Options >General Options. Scroll to the bottom and under SMS and Email Inboxes select "Separate." You will still get a copy of the email in the "Messages" folder and the "youremail@yourdomain folder" as everything gets dumped into the Messages folder but your sms's will be separated.

Thank you. I was hoping that there was a setting so that the emails only go to the email folder and not both but I guess not...just seems redundant for them to go to both folders

It's just the way it is...and the way it's been for ages. I just hide the icon for the specific email folder and just use Messages for everything.

Yup, exactly what I had in mind. On another note, why is it when I get an email that has a vid attachment I can't open it? It shows me that there is an attachment but there is no link to open it, is there something I need to set up in the options? By the way, the attachment is a mpeg.
