Is there any way to be alerted from my home page when I receive a new Yahoo! mail?

Thanks

Of course.
How would you like to be alerted? Tone, Vibrate, Both?
You just need to edit your Profile.

I don't understand what you're asking.
Are you currently getting Yahoo mail delivered to your BlackBerry?

if not, you'd need to set that up first.

I have an application Yahoo! Go. I was wondering if there is a way to be notified of a new email from yahoo without opening up that app.

I don't know what Yahoo Go is.
You probably need to add your Yahoo account to BIS.

Is this a corporate device, on a BES?
Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?

I am not sure if it is, and yes, I have a data plan. Maybe it is the setup wizard I am looking for?

Are you using this device for work? Getting your work email? Assigned by your company?

No, Setup wizard is not what you want.

You need to add your Yahoo account to BIS. Follow the instructions in the links I provided above.
Use the BIS portal on the web if your device doesn't have the Setup Email icon.

One more question, and I really do thank you a lot for helping me with this, but what is the BIS portal?
