Default (UPDATED MESSAGE) IT Policy COPSIT

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone and thanks for your help in advance,

I saw another post complaining about having to put in a password whenever you use it. Mine requires a password every hour. I am just wondering if I should keep this IT Policy named COPSIT? I have not had any problems, but I went into Options, into Security, into General Settings, and saw this .

Should I remove it?

Thanks,
Paul

Where did you get your device?

If it belongs to your company, then no, you should not try to remove the policy.

If you bought it used, like from eBay, then you can remove it if you want.

Hi, thanks for the response.

I received it from eBay. It doesn't bother me, is there any reason I should change it?

Thanks,
Paul

If it doesn't bother you, and it's not restricting you from doing anything, then there isn't any need to go thru the steps to remove it. But if you do want to remove it, you can follow these steps:

Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

Okay, I will try it. How do I back up all of my data?

Thanks,
Paul

That's the default Owner Info.
You can edit it to put in your own in Options > Owner Info.
