Default Yahoo! mail with Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, so I want to be alerted on my home page of my blackberry everytime i get a new yahoo mail. How do I do this? I looked at the step-by-step but it says to use the "Set up Email" icon, but I do not have that icon. Can anyone help me?

Hmm. You should have it.

Anyway, do you know how to setup through BIS?

Try going to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table. Press the trackball on one of the tables and select Register Now. Then see if the icon shows up.

Wirelessly posted (7130e: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

You can also try resending the service books to your phone. That usually helps.

It registers your device with the wireless network.

I am new, and trying to figure this out as well. It wasn't showing up on my phone either. then I noticed that the radio was turned off. I turned the radio on than there it was. The button replaced another button that was labled enterprise activation. Something to try.

Sorry not Radio, but wireless. Like I said I am new as well. I am also using an older model.

The symbol on mine looks like a radio tower. When I turn the "wireless off" I do not get phone calls and I am not connected to the net.

How long have you had your Yahoo account?
Different I know.... my Yahoo account was no problem to tie into my BB.
Tried to set up a Yahoo account that I could use for work using my
mail program on my work Mac. Yahoo looks as though they've changed their model a bit to be more like Hotmail in that you have to have a subscription service to be able to retrieve your mail. Don't know if that's the exact case but......
I've had my Yahoo account for a while but my Hotmail isn't as old so I was not grandfathered in with Hotmail but I guess I was with Yahoo.

I've had my Yahoo! account for about 7 years now. And I also tried doing the turn wireless off and on and no new button appeared.

MBucks, is your device a personal only device, or is it connected to your Blackberry Enterprise Server at work?

If somebody already asked... sorry.
Have you logged into your BIS through your carriers site?
I know you can set up your email accounts there too.
That's longer than I've had my Yahoo... weird.

You have to create an account with whatever username and password you want to use.
