Post Every installation of 3rd parties failed on 7290...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello to everybody in this great forum!

Happy to find such solid support to nearly every problem - wich blackberry's in fact don't have
But anything I didn't find here, even after hours of search.

Everytime I want to install apps on my device I get a message like this:

In the title: "The loading operation was succesful"

But under it: "Warnings were encounteered during loading process:
The following modules could not be loaded because their digital signatures were invalid."

In the control panel on my device the title of the app is mentioned, the icon is missung on homescreen and it's not hidden. I've tried it several times with different apps- install it, uninstall it, delete it and again.... nothing helps.
Then tried it on my mac with the PocketMac SyncManager. The device is recognized and detected... but nothing happenes. Just a prompt for installation and that's it.

I've bought the 7290 on e..y and came with OS 3.8. At first I upgraded it and then I tried my luck... Well, normally I use a 7130 and never got a message like this.

Some facts:

Device - 7290 from T-mobile
OS - v4.1.0.292
BB Desktop Manager - v4.2.2.12
PocketM.SyncM. - v4b

Any suggestions what is wrong in this case? - Thanks in advance

Did you pull the battery and reboot the BB after installing? Sometimes an app or icon will appear afterwards.

It makes no fun with that buggy cell... :(
Another try with downgrading it to 3.8 does not help. What else can I Do?

Sounds like a IT Policy preventing third party apps. If you go into Options and Security, do you see mention of a IT policy?

It means that it used to be connected to a Blackberry Server, and the server probably had things locked down. Check the faq for instructions on how to remove it.
