Hi All, After being a treo user for the past 3 years I finally made the switch to the BB 8830. So far the phone is great but I know I haven't yet tapped it's fullest potential. Although I an new to this forum, I am not new to the forum scene. And yes, I have done a search on this before I posted. Hopefully some gurus out there can help me.

I noticed that all of me email as well as SMS messages come into one place. My buddy has a 8703 and told me about vodafone which he says does a great job of separating email from SMS. Is this available for the 8830 as well? If so, where can go to get it? Is it free or what? Hard to install? Keep in mind that the phone is linked up to a BB server so my email is all real time. Don't want to mess that up (although so is my buddy's and his is working fine).

Thanks in advanced to all that reply!

You should be able to separate SMS messages from the Messages folder. In the Messages app press the Menu key and select Options > General Options. At the bottom (if the Theme you are using allows it) there should be a SMS and E-mail Inboxes paramter. Set it to Separate. You shoudl then get another icon on your home screen for SMS Messages.
