I'm having no luck using the new Google Sync in syncing my BB calendar to Gcal. The BB goes through the motions, ends up with a message that sync was successful, but nothing has changed in my Gcal. Any suggestions? Thanks. (I've tried re-installing sync, rebooting, logging out and back in again etc etc but no use)

Wirelessly posted (AT&T (Cingular) 8100 Pearl: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Are you 'backing-up' from BlackBerry to GCalendar?

Try creating a new appointment. Might be syncing anything AFTER the program is installed. At least that's what I gather from comments on BGR.

You're correct in that new entries at either end do get sync'd, so I suppose I should be thankful for that. But if that's all it can do that's pretty lame - I've got months of appointments, including recurring entries, on my BB calendar and I need those carried over on to the Gcal. (Of course, if I could get Entourage to sync with GCal, or with iCal that I could then sync with Gcal, this wouldn't have seemed like the answer to my prayers - but that's for a different forum!)
