Default After installing 4.2.2.322 on my Sprint 8830 the phone shows 4.2.2.176

I went to the Sprint website to download the latest verison software for my 8830. It says that the verison is 4.2.2.322 but, after downloading it and loading it on my phone I only show that I moved up to 4.2.2.176. Is this right?

Yes. According to the web site that it was downloaded from,

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.322 (Multilanguage)

Package Version: 4.2.2.322
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.2.2.176
Software Platform: 3.0.0.76
File name: 8830EFS_PBr4.2.2_rel322_PL3.0.0.76_A4.2.2.176_Spri nt.exe
File size: 70.18MB

So 4.2.2.176 looks right!

Package version and OS version difference threw me off too. So you're not only one.

Default So should I update....?

I just got my Sprint 8830 yesterday and checked now, I have 4.2.2.123. Is there an advantage for this upgrade? I just spent the better part of last night and today installing and configuring.... would HATE to loose all of that.

Thanks....

Ken
