Question What is a fair price

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7290 - and so far I am a happy camper - I do see a number of Unlocked 8700 available on Ebay and I am assuming this is an upgrade based on specs.

I plan to use it with a Global Communications SIM when I travel outside the country and NOT using it in the USA except as a PDA.

Obviously the unlocked phones command a higher price -

I bid on one last night which ultimately went for $88 -
I also see one - buy it now for $129 but someone said that anything over $100 was not a great buy.

Any thoughts on what is a fair price???

Less than $100 is a fair price for an excellent condition 8100. You might pay a bit more for one unlocked.

I am seeing numbers like that - thanks - one guy is selling an unlocked 8700 for about $130 and another is selling an unlocked Cingular/Tmobile for about $65 at the moment - he says it is usable on any company so if I believe that anything up to $99.99 should be fair - thanks

check out the Buy Sell section here also, and compare recent sales.

You can get any TMo, AT&T, or Rogers 8700 unlocked for US$15-25.
