I have a new to me blackberry, and a question. I cannot establish a new account for email, it says that there is already an account associated with the pin.

Also, there are 2 installation cd's in the box, neither of which my computer can read.

Am I totally up the creek here? I am in NZ and on Vodafone.

You will need to contact the previous owner to have them release the IMEI and PIN, failing that you will have to convince the carrier the previous owner used to release it for you.

I have both of those numbers.

Call vodafone and ask them what they can do.
