Hi,
just bought an unlocked BB 8800 and I'm really satisfied except for that lite bug with the missed call counter which won't reset to zero. Tried everything I've found on this forum about that issue with no luck. Also searched on my question with no answers. So, since I have an unlocked phone, will it still be unlocked after a reset? Will it still be unlocked if I upgrade the OS?

Yes, resetting does not affect the unlock. Once unlocked ALWAYS unlocked.

Leaving the power on, pull the battery and reboot.

Yeah, tried them all now. Nothing helps, isn't the biggest thing but really irritating. Looks like I'll have to wipe it.
