Question:
The menu when clicking on an email reads (top to bottom): help, open, mark unopened, save, reply, etc... - no option to file? I have rebooted (pulled out battery), also resent service book...nothing. My wife just bought the exact same model which arrived today...same issue. Thoughts?

Save... that is what you are looking for. No file.

I had a 7290 before this one and one of the options was to file. There is an option to view folders (nothing in them i can figure out though) so there should be a way to create an email file that you want to put things in??

I also checked the online user guide for the 8700 and they reference being able to click on an email and file it. If this is mentioned, does anyone know why it isn't an option on my menu as noted above?

Are you on a BES setup or BIS?

If you are on BIS, there won't be an option to "file" it. Where would you "file" it anyway?
