Default Automatic outbound calls?

I have an end user that claims her device is making calls to another co-worker on its own. She even said that this happed once while the device was turned off. Have you ever heard of such a problem before? She has an 8700 with AT&T.

Welcome to BB Forums.
That's a new one to me.
I wonder if she is putting it in standby instead of powering it off.
When a BB is powered off, it can only be used as a doorstop or paperweight.
