I have had an 8703e bb thru verizon wireless for a few weeks and have noticed that the battery only charges to 95%. I have been trying to wear down and fully recharge while the devise is off. Have been charging for 3-4 hrs each time and trying to top it off but when I turn it on and watch the battery indicator it only shows 95% charged. The battery is lasting a few days and seem fine otherwise. Noticed it happening with the initial battery so I replaced that and the same issue is continuing. Could this be the outlet charger, the Blackberry itself, the battery, or the way I am charging ?
Should I run it through a few more cycles to test ??? Verizon has a 3-month warranty whereby they will replace the battery.

Try changing the theme and see if it changes some themes on the 8703 dont show the full charge.

Are you going by the battery indicator, or are you checking in Options > Status?

After I upgraded to 4.2, the battery indicator would show 95%, but when I checked the status it was actually 100%. That was with the Verizon theme. Now I'm using the BB Dimension Zen theme and the battery indicator shows 100%.
