One of the benefits of BlackBerry 8800 or 8820 is a built-in GPS module.
Would you like to know what GPS can really give you? Would you like to take full advantage of it?
Let’s define
what GPS is.
GPS (Global Positioning System) uses satellite technology to enable a terrestrial terminal to determine its position on the Earth in latitude and longitude. To put it in simpler words, it allows users with GPS receivers to determine precise coordinates for their location on the Earth's surface.
What advantage can you take of it?
You can:
* record tracks of your trips anywhere on the Earth from your BlackBerry. Your tracks will be traced on Google Maps and stored in an online archive or in your mobile
* show to your friends the instant position on a map when you are traveling
* map your digital photos precisely at a place they were taken.
