Exclamation Frozen Enter Key

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, I've lost it...

I have a blackberry 8703 from sprint.. I love the thing, but recently my "Enter" or "return" key does not work. I've tried downloading the latest firmware but it still doesn't work. I've tried to "shut off" and "turn on" repeatedly, but to no avail. Lastly I tried a "hard" reset and still the key is unresponsive.

Thanking any and all in advance for your help and support!

This sounds like a keyboard problem. Sounds like you've done all you can do with updating the firmware and removing the battery. May be time for a new device.

Talking Water Damage

Well it turns out I have water damage. couldn't tell how or why, but it is what it is. shut it off, left the battery out, and waited 24 hours.

It seems to work...for now....

take out battery. open up the case. leave the device out in the sun to dry up. get a can of compressed air and blow out all of the crap. put back together.

On the how or why, do you have kids? Maybe a young son who likes to experiment and play with things. It's been years, but some memories came right to my mind reading this.
