I purchased a BB 7250 last week, and people tell me that when I am in crowded areas, my phone picks up alot of background noise. Is this normal, or should I take it back for a new one? Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately, normal. This is one of the flaws in the current software. Sprint has released an upgrade that VZW will soon be releasing you might try the Sprint upgrade and see if it solves the problem.

Thanks for the reply, I use Alltel, so hopefully they get the update also.

I have a Alltel BB Phone, Go to the phone dialer, click options, check for Enhanced Audio.. See what your setting is.. That is suppose to help in loud areas, but the same is true, it would increase background noises, when not needed.

Does anyone know for sure what the Enhanced Audio setting does? Will that solve our background noise issues?
