Default Which to choose? 8820 or 8830

Please Login to Remove!

Hello -

While my Avatar says 8820, I am allowed to choose between the ATT 8820 and Verizon 8830.

Which is the better phone? (I realize they are very similar, but the subtle differences are not clear to me.)

...and how does the coverage compare? I am in SE Tennessee.

I have read about Verizon hobbling the GPS, so that is a factor.

What about WiFi and general coverage comparison?

I have to pull the trigger, so any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

I WOULD KILL FOR 8820. I love wifi, even if there may be connection issues with it. not sure about the verizon data network. is it any faster?

I think after using edge on att, I would still go 8820

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Well the 8830 I believe would use verizons equivalent to edge. I may be wrong. It may be evdo capable if so in theory it would be faster

Personally I would go with att and a gsm network
