Default Syncing with Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,
I am responsible for all support for Blackberries at my company. Two users recently bout 7100i's. Neither have internet access, so we are syncing their Blackberries with Outlook via a usb cable. Everything works great except email does not come through. The email profile says "Outlook" and the only other option is "Archived Folders". How can I sync their emails onto the 7100i?

Thanks

Without more details like whether your company uses BES, its hard to give a clear answer. I will tell you that you cannot sync outlook emails via cable. This must be done OTA.

E-Mail never syncs; e-mail is always forwarded to the BlackBerry, either through BIS or BES. For either of those, you need the BlackBerry Data Plan.

Default 7100i

We do have a BES server at my company, but for the particular phones I am talking about hey do not have the data plan and are not connected to the the BES sever. Can I sync email up through a usb cable (not real time, just when the users get a free chance). I can currently sync contacts and so forth, just not emails.

Thanks

Default To kbrown - Syncing directly with Outlook

If you've found a way to do that with contacts, notes, etc. and NOT email, can you please share that? That's really all I want my Blackberry for (PDA purposes) and would love to figure out how to sync up that way...Thanks, Rick
