I'm a new BB owner, and new to the forums, but I've been reading and researching since I bought my 7250 on eBay 3 weeks ago.
Thanks to some if the articles around, I got rid if the Federal Govt. IT Policy Bin and now I can send SMS messages.
Currently I use the BB for Cell and SMS services, but I will eventually get a data plan for email at least, mobile browsings cost doesn't impress me a bit.
Here is my problem, My cell plan has both incoming and outgoing caller ID, and outgoing works well, but on incoming calls I get unknown number.
While trying to search the problem here I came across several ideas concerning settings and numbers in address books and I tried them all, but to no avail.
How do I get caller ID to work on incoming calls? Do I need a data plan first?
I know you have the answer out there somewhere... please help, 'cause I got to know who is calling before I answer.
After 3 calls to my provider, they finally agreed that incoming call display was disabled by mistake, all is well now
