Default New BES user, w/ 7100g

We've got a new Mini-BES application, some users with BB 7200 series, a couple of 7100g's, including mine. It receives e-mail & calendar stuff, appears working fine with the BES, but seems to be un-synced -- when I delete an e-mail on the BB, it does not delete it in my mailbox, and vice-versa. I'm running Desktop Manager 4.0.1, but whenever I connect the 7100g, the application goes to "Working", the BB says it is connected to the desktop, but it never stops "working." I've reinstalled the Desktop Manager, even installed on another desktop, same result. So what's with that, and how do I enable bi-directional synching?
