Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards, and I just purchased a 7100g on eBay. I only bought the BB for the calendar feature. Right now, for my regular cell phone, I have the internet blocked (I kept getting charged... long story ), but I do have unlimited text messages. I have no desire to actually use the BB for internet purposes. Without a data plan on the BB, will I still be able to text message? I used to work for BB tech support several years back, and I remembered the SMS feature sending text msgs as email. I am a huge texter, and I don't want to be charged additionally for these messages -- or even worse, what if I can't text at all?

I hope I am making sense. I can't wait for my new toy to get here! :D
