I am seasoned bb user but this is my first post. When i enter a meeting through Outlook, it correctly syncs to the bb; however, the reverse is not true. If i enter an appointment or send an invite from the bb, it does not sync to Outlook. Any ideas why this is happening? I also cannot receive meeting requests on the bb.

If this has been answered before please direct me to the correct thread.

Are you still dealing with this, kurac80, or have you figured it out?

If it's still a problem, have you looked at your sync configuration in desktop manager. I'm not at a computer to verify, but there is a setting to either sync or just copy PIM info one direction or the other, I believe. You want it set to synchronize, I think. See if that's the issue.

My company purposely did not provide the desktop software. (I have no idea why). I know it could be downloaded. Could i install the desktop software or would that cause issue with the current settings set up by my administrator?

My mistake, I think. I jumped to conclusion that you are using BIS. But you are on BES, aren't you? This may be a BES issue, I don't know. What do your IT people say?

go to your calendar on your blackberry, Options, wireless sync, if it is ON, turn it to OFF, exit calendar. Re-enter calendar, options, re-enable wireless sync to ON and save.

Give it a few minutes and it should sync... if it does not speak with your IT dept. and find out if they are allowing wireless sync for your calendar and contacts.
