I just upgraded my 7100T to the 4.0.2.32.
I also switched to the Vodafone theme.
I now have 4 additional icons appearing on my desktop.
They are shortcuts using the same icon as the "settings icon":
- network
- current wordlist
- bluetooth
- screen/keyboard

Anyone experienced the same problem. Any idea on how to fix this?

They are what you said - shortcuts...save you digging down thru the menus. I guess you can hide them if you want to.

speaking of hiding icons...
they seem to have disabled the hiding option for certain items (calender, turn wireless on/off, browser, etc.) some of which I had hidden to either make navigation easier or for the fact I never really use those items, and now that I upgraded to this version, things that I had hidden I can no longer "unhide" if you will, making it frustrating for a few things.


... but for the purpose of this post...
Yes you can hide items by alt-click trackwheel and selecting the "hide application" option on the menu that appears. You can also "move application" to move the item to where you see fit for whatever purpose.
