Default 8800 Bluetooth to laptop

I have an at&t 8800 and XP pro laptop. It looks like they connect but I can't get desktop manager to work with BB. It works fine with USB. Laptop asks what services this device will do BT serial, network access, PIM item transfer, file transfer....

I have also searched and came up empty.
