Unhappy Cannot load applications via 'Application Loader'

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having the same error message time & time again when trying to 'up-load' software to my BB 8820 from my PC, -'No additional applications designed for your device were found'

I've used the CD supplied with my device, so the firmware 'should' be up-to-date with the device -but no joy...
Can anyone help....I would like to up-load BB tools etc....

Thanx

Default Argh that is so frustrating

Hi

I had the same issue, and the link above is good information, but something I did not know being new to blackberry apps was that you need all the files in a folder for your application that came with it. I thought you only need the .alx file, similar to what I did on the Palm, but you need all of the files in the download package. I found that putting them all in one general folder on my desktop worked well.

Other than that, just make sure you have the phone operating system loaded like it describes. Hope that helps.
