Default UK t-mobile 7290 with InstantEmail -- how to add a 3rd-party BES?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, yesterday I bought the "Prosumer" 7290 from t-mobile (UK) with the Instant Email option. I want to set it up with mailstreet (or any similar external BES). However this 7290 doesn't have an "Enterprise Activation" facility either on the main menu or in the Options menu. Do I need to download and install a "corporate" version of the firmware, or is there some other way to do it?

Many thanks

You need to first sign up with a service such as Mailstreet first, forward your mail MX records to their servers and have the service books from the 3rd party BES pushed out to your device.

Thanks Finch, I've emailed mailstreet with my pin. This is not something they requested when I ordered the BES service --does it sound like they just forgot?
